Pakistan Set To Host ITCN Asia 2024 At Expo Centre Lahore

The Information Technology Commerce Network (ITCN) Asia 2024 is gearing up for a vibrant showcase from April 18 to 20 at Expo Centre Lahore. It will be hosted proudly by Pakistan this year. Sources claim that Minister of State for IT and Telecom, Shaza Khawaja, will attend the event as Chief Guest. She will underscore the govt’s commitment to technological advancement. Deemah AlYahya, Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organization will join the event as the esteemed Chief Guest on the opening day.

ITCN Asia 2024 Will Take Place At Expo Centre Lahore

According to the latest reports, a diverse delegation of international investors from 12 countries will insinuate a huge amount of $500 million into the tech ecosystem. They aim to showcase robust confidence in the region’s potential. There will be over 700 stalls in the venue, featuring global tech giants and indigenous innovators like Microsoft, RedHat, and Lenovo. In addition to that, there will be more than 250 international speakers who will share insights in over 20 knowledge sessions. Engaging forums and summits will include the AI Summit, Global Security Symposium, and Gaming and Scholars Round Table, which promise to promote thought leadership and foster teamwork. The most noteworthy among them are the Investor Summit and Freelancer Summit, offering invaluable networking opportunities.

The tech galore will be supported by the Ministry of IT and Telecom, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), and the Pakistan IT Industry Association. ITCN Asia Event Director Umair Nizam stated:

“The IT, telecom, and associated industries are entering a unique promising era in Pakistan after embracing technological trends and modern applications in every aspect of life. On the direction of the SIFC the Pakistani tech ecosystem is entering new markets in the Gulf region while solidifying its existing western markets”

He further stated that ITCN Asia will keep its tradition of serving all its stakeholders in the tech ecosystem. Moreover, it will provide exciting opportunities to policymakers, foreign investors, global tech giants, telecom operators, and consumers to let them explore the latest trends per their interests and requirements.

Umair Nizam, Director of ITCN not only highlighted the transformative impact of technology but also emphasized Pakistan’s stride towards adopting digital transformation across sectors. According to him, initiatives spearheaded by the Special Investment Facilitation Council are driving Pakistani tech firms into the Gulf region and beyond.
