Samsung To Re-release Galaxy Watch 4 in 2024

There have been many rumors and leaks circulating that Samsung will launch a new smartwatch called the Galaxy Watch FE. Rumors claimed that the wearable would have similar features to the Galaxy Watch 4. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case now. It turns out that the tech giant will release a rebranded version of the 2021 Galaxy Watch 4, rather than a new FE model. It means that Samsung will re-release Watch 4 in 2024. So, are you guys ready for that?

Samsung Will Release No Galaxy Watch FE This Year

A reliable source clarified that there won’t be an “FE” version in 2024. Moreover, the upcoming watch will be the re-released version of the 2021 Galaxy Watch 4. The new rumors align with an earlier one that tipped in February that Samsung could release a new version of the Galaxy Watch 4 in 2024. Anyhow, it isn’t new for Samsung to launch new iterations of its products. For example, the company recently launched the Tab S6 Lite (2024). It is the third version of the original Tab S6 Lite from 2020. The updated variants often have identical specs to the previous models.

The Galaxy Watch 4 (2024) is anticipated to be a worthwhile addition to Samsung’s existing range of wearables. However, it will mainly depend on its pricing and subtle improvements Samsung may include. There have been no words regarding the official release date or pricing of the Watch 4 (2024). The FE designation is normally reserved for Samsung products that are a step below the flagship devices in terms of capabilities and pricing. So, we think the upcoming Galaxy Watch 4 will be cheaper as compared to the Galaxy Watch 6 and 7.

The standard Watch 4 boasts a contemporary design. It has brushed aluminum lugs that unfold to encapsulate the black polished metal body of the watch. The watch is available in two sizes. You can get a 1.19in or 1.36in circular AMOLED display sporting a pixel density of 330ppi if you opt for the smaller or larger-bodied variants respectively. The original Watch 4 was released in 2021, running Wear OS 3 instead of Samsung’s Tizen software. We’re speculating that a 2024 model will come with incremental changes to keep costs down. Anyhow, let’s wait and watch what comes next. Stay tuned for more updates!
