The upcoming update will likely expand the picture-in-picture feature, allowing users to watch videos in a small pop-up window while using the app. Similar to video calls, WhatsApp will create a small pop-up window for the video being watched, enabling users to continue using other app features. This feature is also currently under development for WhatsApp Beta for iOS 24.7.10.73.
