The wait for Android O is likely to end on August 21. Yes it is expected that Google will unveil what ‘O’ actually stands for in Android 8.

Google launched Android O Developer preview few months back. The great software update would start with the Pixel line up of smartphones.

The search engine, Google has not confirmed yet that whether it will also unveil the Pixel 2 smartphone as well. The ever-reliable Evan Blass has just tweeted out the latest development regarding the Android O.

He said that:

Android O release scheduled for the week of 8/21, ‘most likely on the 21st itself

Android O is expected to have a new picture in picture mode, new notification dots to Operating System and add improvement to Bluetooth audio playback.

Latest smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ and HTC U11 will be incorporated with Google O by the end of this year. According to survey more than 85 percent of Android devices have not upgraded to Android Nougat released last year.

It seems people are not prone to incorporating new technologies. However for those who are anxiously waiting for Android 0, your wait is about to end.
