European Software Company, Icewarp To Invest In Pakistan’s Tech Sector

Icewarp, a software company from the Czech Republic, recently announced its plans to launch its complete operation in Pakistan. The cherry on top is that the tech firm also aims to invest in the tech sector for the establishment of a data center. Established in 1998, the software giant is operating in more than 100 countries with its specialized and highly cost-effective services including hosted email, TeamChat, ChatGPT integration, and online conferences.

Icewarp To Set Up A Data Center in Pakistan

According to the sources, the company will set up a data center in Pakistan in compliance with local regulations to keep the data and privacy of the citizens within the borders. Moreover, it will offer solutions that are 60% cost-effective compared to other software companies. The tech firm also aims to establish improved applications and cyber-security features to entice several industries, financial organizations, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and startups to use its services.

Hexalyze, Pakistan’s IT company has been providing the integration of tech solutions for Small, Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Large Enterprises since 2014. It is based in the UAE, KSA, Australia, and Pakistan with global alliance partners. Icewarp, in collaboration with Hexalyze, is setting up its regional office in Pakistan. The Czech-based software company will expand its operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates with separate data centers in these countries. On the other hand, the Pakistani office will serve as the backup support station for marketing and sales.

Icewarp is all set for a handsome investment of $1 million to establish a data center. The collaboration between HexaLyze and Ice Warp is anticipated to generate significant savings in foreign exchange expenditure, as the companies plan to offer cost-effective data center solutions tailored to the needs of Pakistani businesses.
