Huawei First to Support Daydream, Google’s Platform for High Performance Mobile VR

Huawei announced its support for Daydream; hence becoming one of the first OEMs that will run it which is Google’s platform for high performance smart phone VR. The smartphone maker said that this support will definitely depend on their collaboration with Google.

Huawei is committed to work with Google for this purpose and many other international companies in order to build an ecosystem to carry compelling and rich Daydream experiences for its users. Huawei is willing to bring these innovations by introducing transformations in VR devices, content and applications.

In order to achieve this goal, Huawei will launch devices that will support “Daydream” experiences with help of Huawei Kirin and Qualcomm chip-sets. The company announced that:

“Huawei will have Daydream-ready phones, headsets, and controllers to be announced by the end of 2016.”
