Instagram IGTV Let’s You Capture Videos up to an Hour Long

Facebook-owned social network, Instagram, has introduced a mobile app in its app that will allow users to capture videos up to an hour. We have been listening to a while that Instagram will soon let its users allow to make videos up to an hour long. For that reason, Instagram IGTV will allow the creators to upload hour-long videos on their own channels.

Instagram IGTV is a service that plans to feature videos from rising internet celebrities, artists, and pets, some of whom have tens of millions of social media followers. Videos will start playing as soon as a user clicks on the TV-shaped icon on Instagram or opens the IGTV app.

As part of the launch, Instagram listed a few of its top influencers who have already started adding videos to their IGTV channels, including Lele Pons, Selena Gomez, Kim Kardashian West and Kevin Hart.

The IGTV platform within Instagram and the standalone app started rolling out globally on Android and iOS. Furthermore, it will be available to all users over the next few weeks.
