Nothing Ear & Nothing Ear (a) Leaked Ahead Of Launch

In a significant development, Nothing has changed the name of its highly anticipated earbuds. The company seems intent on ‘resetting’ its naming scheme and letting go of the numbers used to inform us about product generation. According to the latest reports, Nothing earbuds will make its debut on April 18. However, this time they will be named Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a) respectively. Only a few days are left in the launch and both earbuds have been completely leaked. Let’s jump to the specs and features of the upcoming gadgets.

What We Know About Nothing Ear & Nothing Ear (a) So Far

The high-end product, the Nothing Ear has been in the pipeline of rumor for many weeks. According to the latest leak, these earbuds will come with a price tag of €150. They will unsurprisingly be the successors to the Nothing Ear (2). As per the specs, the all-new Nothing Ear will boast an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, while the case will be IPX2 rated. In addition, the buds will come with 7.5 hours of battery life with ANC turned off, and the case will give you a total of 33 hours. Isn’t it amazing? The Nothing Ear color options include black and white, with a transparent theme as you expect from Nothing.

On the other hand, Nothing Ear (a) will be the cheaper variant of the earbuds. It will reportedly come with a price tag of €100. The amazing part of the news is that you’ll still get active noise cancelation, dual connection support, and quick charging for this amount of cash. It will have all prominent features just like the vanilla variant. The latest leak claims that Ear (a) buds will last 8 hours with ANC off. On the other hand, their case will give you 38 hours in total. This low-priced variant will also be IP54-rated. However, the case will get an even better IP55 rating.

Nothing Ear (a) color options include black, white, and yellow, with the yellow hue somehow being more eco-friendly. Nothing hasn’t revealed any further details about that, so we have no idea how or why the yellow color will be more eco-friendly. Anyhow, only a week is left before the launch so let’s wait and watch what comes next.

No doubt, both variants look a very solid audio offerings from Nothing. Are you looking forward to their official launch next week?  Do share with us in the comment section.
