Oppo A2 Pro is finally getting a successor later this week. I am talking about the highly anticipated Oppo A3 Pro whose launch date is set to be April 12 at 2:30 PM Beijing time. The upcoming handset will be a mid-ranger packed with promising features. Sources claim Oppo is already taking early reservations for the A3 Pro through its official online store and partnering retailers JD.com, Tmall, and Douyin. Oppo A3 Pro Will Come In Three Colors

Oppo has been teasing the handset for several days. According to the teasers, A3 Pro will feature some sort of ingress protection. It will come with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Moreover, the handset will boast three color options- Azure, Pink, and Mountain Blue with two of them featuring a vegan leather back.

The highly anticipated A3 Pro will offer an IP69 rating which means protection against high-pressure water jets (up to 100 bar) and steam cleaning. It will come with dust-tight protection as well. It will be a noteworthy feature of the smartphone as we don’t usually see midrange devices with this type of IP rating. Other rumored specs include a curved 6.7-inch OLED with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Oppo Phone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. There will be a massive 5,000 mAh battery to keep the lights on. As per camera details, A3 Pro will feature a 1/2-inch 64MP main cam with f/1.7 aperture. There have been no words regarding the sensors and selfie snapper yet.

The device recently appeared on Geekbench bearing the PJY110 identifier. The Geekbench testing confirms the Dimensity 7050 chipset and 12GB RAM and shows the device will boot Android 14 out of the box. The smartphone scored 904 points in the single-core department and 2,364 points in the multi-core score.

The design of the Oppo A3 Pro is the same as that of the CAD renders leaked previously. The handset seems to boast a large circular rear camera module with two camera sensors alongside an LED flash. The power button and volume rockers will be placed on the right edge of the model. It will come with very slim bezels and a center hole-punch slot for the front camera. There will be a USB Type-C port, speaker grill, and SIM tray slot at the bottom edge of the handset.
