Apple ditches both mini-LED and IPS LCD technology in favour of a groundbreaking OLED display for the first time ever in an iPad. They’ve dubbed it the “tandem OLED display” – a two-layer OLED panel that achieves exceptional brightness. Get ready for vibrant colours and deep blacks with a promised 1,000 nits of full-screen brightness for SDR content and an eye-popping 1,600 nits for HDR content.

The ProMotion displays remain, offering a smooth and responsive experience with a variable refresh rate between 10Hz and 120Hz. Both displays boast a sharp 264ppi pixel density. There are two key storage configurations to consider – 256GB and 512GB models come with a 9-core CPU (3 performance cores and 6 efficiency cores), while the 1TB and 2TB options boast a 10-core CPU (4 performance cores and 6 efficiency cores). All models share the same powerful 10-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine. However, the higher storage models get double the RAM, at 16GB compared to 8GB on the base models.

Remember, the nano-texture glass finish is an extra $100 for the 1TB and 2TB models. Opting for cellular connectivity adds $200 to the price tag.
