Recently some of the Apple’s devices were facing battery problems. Some iPhone 6S devices suffer a battery problem, the phone suddenly shuts down. This battery problem is not as much serious as Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has. But Apple has acknowledged that some of its iPhone 6S models are suffering with battery problem. The company assured its customers that it is just a manufacturing problem not like Note 7 explosion problem. For that reason Apple Brings Battery Replacement Program for Defective iPhone 6S.

The company stated that devices manufactured between September and October 2015 affected only. Moreover, those iPhone 6S users who suffer with battery problem can claim for a new battery. For that reasons, iPhone 6s users can visit Apple Retail Store or any Apple Authorised Service to claim a free new battery.

Apple company said in an official statements:

“Apple has determined that a very small number of iPhone 6s devices may unexpectedly shut down. This is not a safety issue and only affects devices within a limited serial number range that were manufactured between September and October 2015.”

“If you have experienced this issue, please visit an Apple Retail Store or an Apple Authorised Service Provider and have your device’s serial number checked to confirm eligibility for a battery replacement, free of charge.”

Apple said that the iPhone 6S battery replacement program will not extend the warranty coverage. Moreover, the battery replacement program covers affected iPhone 6S batteries for 3 years after the first retail sale of the unit.

Further, if your iPhone 6s has any damage such as a cracked screen that issue will resolve first than the battery replacement. In those cases, customers have to pay more for repair.
