Now the company has announced that it is going to stop its operation from December 31, 2016. Cyanogen will stop its all services and further development will also be stopped from the mentioned date.

Only “CyanogenMod”, open source Android-based operating system (OS) developed and maintained by this community, will continue to function but only as a personal project by few of the developers of the company; who wants to invest their efforts on it. The source code will be available for all individuals who wants to continue working on it.
