Now, if users reply to a Story, they will be able to add other people to the reply, which will create a new group in Facebook Messenger.

People will also be able to reply with stickers and “reactions” such as “like,” “love,” and “sad”.  The TechCrunch has reported that reactions icons will be present alongside the bottom message bar, while people who post Stories will see those who have ‘reacted’, and which reaction they used, in the Stories views listing.

The story format was first introduced by Snapchat which was copied by Facebook and added it to all of its apps that include Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Facebook itself. However, Instagram and WhatsApp’s stories are more popular, with 300 million and 450 million daily users, but Facebook Stories are not so famous.

According Facebook’s latest stats, Facebook Stories now has 150 million daily active users. However, these two features are designed to increase engagement with Facebook Stories.
