HBL Revolutionizes Retail Payments for the Frist time in Pakistan

Habib Bank Limited (HBL) has launched mobile POS technology to facilitate its customers, hence becoming the pioneer of this technology in Pakistan. Mobile Point-of-Sale (mPOS) technology enables secure, convenient and cashless transactions on the go via consumer’s smart phone or tablet.  Now customers can conveniently do their transactions through smartphones.

Previously, HBL signed agreements with MasterCard and Monet for the rollout of this Mobile Point-of-Sale (mPOS) service. The mPOS solution that HBL has launched, will enable micro and small merchants to accept credit, debit and prepaid cards as payment, and can also integrate with the complex back end systems of larger retailers to provide a robust mobile POS solution.
