Huawei is prepping to release two new handsets with 5G Capability this year. One of them is the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G. A few days back, we saw the photo of the 5G version’s retail packaging and now a hands-on-video surfaced online.
Huawei Mate 20X 5G Will Boast Triple Camera Setup
According to the latest video, the Mate 20X 5G will feature a bright and large 7.2-inch display. It will come with 8GB of RAM. In addition to that, the handset will sport a triple camera setup identical to the one on the Mate 20 Pro. The video has shown few angles of the Mate 20 X, prominently highlighting a 5G logo on its backside. Moreover, according to recent reports, the handset will come with a 4,200 mAh battery cell to keep the lights on. It will also have a quicker 40W Super Charge support.
Huawei foldable Mate X and the giant Mate 20 X 5G will sport Huawei’s own Balong 5000 modem. This modem is compatible with the HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC and will require more physical space within the Mate 20 X. That’s why the company has reduced the battery size to 4,200 mAh as compared to the standard 5,000 mAh cell in the 4G version.
The company hasn’t mentioned the availability of a Mate 20 X 5G but the foldable Mate X is claimed to arrive sometime in the second half of this year. Let’s see what comes next. We will surely share it with you when we will get to know more about the handsets.
