Microsoft Foldable Smartphone Andromeda to Launch in 2019

It seems like 2019 will be an interesting year for the new mobile technologies including foldable phones. All the major smartphone manufacturers such as Apple, Samsung, Huawei, LG, Motorola and more are getting ready to release the folding smartphones in near future. Every tech giant is trying to launch the foldable phone first. Microsoft is also planning to launch its first foldable smartphone in the coming year. The Microsoft foldable smartphone will be called Andromeda.

Microsoft Foldable Smartphone will feature full-fledged Windows experience

According to a book called “Beneath a Surface“, Microsoft shows the innovative devices of 2019. The book tells a story about a tablet, which when folded acts as a smartphone. But Microsoft will not use the regular old Windows Phone OS. Instead, the company will offer a full-fledged Windows experience.

The book also includes information about other devices that Microsoft is planning to launch in 2019. These are the devices the company will launch in the next year

  • A new Xbox One console
  • Surface laptops with AMD chips
  • A direct iPad Pro 12.9 competitor with a USB-C charging port

Previously, Microsoft has regained its position as the second most valuable company. Microsoft is continuously improving its services.
