Leisure Leagues, the UK’s largest foot ball league has initiated to bring football in Pakistan. Leisure League is global initiative to provide platform to young talent in country by bringing Football in Pakistan. The company of World Group, Leisure League has announced their 5, 6, and 7-a-side football in Pakistan and has asked all football lovers to gear up to be the part of this exciting opportunity. Nokia Partnered with World Group to Bring int’l Football in Pakistan.

Advance Telecom, Nokia distributor in Pakistan has partnered with World Group to provide platform for Football enthusiastic by creating different opportunities for them. This initiative will help Pakistani Football players to be represented in international world of football.

COO, Leisure Leagues , Ishaq Shah and Anas Trunkwala CEO World Group unveiled the new logo of event Nokia – Ronaldinho & Friends 2017. The ceremony was attended by Kamran Khan, Head of Near East, HMD Global and Ammar Ahmed, Head of Marketing, HMD Global.

Ammar Ahmed-HOM , HMD Global shared his view:

“It is for the first time that an event of such magnitude is taking place in Pakistan. We believe that our support for football shall open further avenues of development for the sport. We plan to create inroads to tap into the local sporting talent

This Collaboration will Soften the image of Pakistan

Rehan Sheikh– HOM, Advance Telecom expressed his views:

“We are entering into this coordination to enhance the soft image of Pakistan. Advance Telecom will be willing to play our part in bringing several international football superstars to the grounds of Pakistan. We at Advance Telecom are excited to have joined hands with World Group in supporting football in Pakistan.

Addressing the ceremony,  Ex.DG Rangers Sindh Mr Javid Zia said:

I commend the Trunkwala Family and Leisure Leagues for creating this platform that is of great patriotic value. Bringing international players to Pakistan  to play a match on our soil will soften Pakistan’s global image.”

Mehmood Trunkwala, CEO World Group expressed his views:

We want to empower our local talent and create a platform that gives every individual a chance to play football and groom their skills. We want the youth of Pakistan to pursue their passion for football without any hardship and eventually showcase their talents at the international level.”

This is the first time in history that a private group has taken initiative of introducing and launching football in Pakistan. The responsibility of training young football lover at international level is indeed a very good action.
