Now Dog Lovers Can Get Perfect Pet Match Via New App

Now animal lovers can meet new pet via mobile application in Lithuania. The app is basically inspired by the well-known dating app Tinder to match up dogs in local areas with new owners. This new app is known as GetPet. This app was launched a month ago and now this new app hits hundreds of new users daily.

The app has already made a few matches. It has accompanied the other apps that are helping users to adopt a pet such as PawsLikeMe and BarkBuddy.

The app creator Vaidas Geceviciu said:

“It is like Tinder, but with dogs, You can arrange a meeting with the dog — a date.”

GetPet comes with the profiles of the pets and scrolling down reveals more information about the pet. If the users are interested, they can then swipe right and if not then they can swipe left. When you swipe left, another dog profile appears.

This idea popped up in the mind of creators when they saw a stray dog on the street through the window during a computer workshop. Currently, the app is only showing dogs profile but the creators are planning to include cats and other animals somewhere in near future.
