Over 6 million unregistered mobile SIMS blocked in Pakistan
Mobile phones operators in the country have blocked unregistered mobile SIMS on the orders of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). Over 6 million unregistered mobile SIMS blocked in Pakistan
All the blocked SIMS were issued before the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) envisaged out system for issuing of SIMS. The PTA has directed mobile phone operators to speed up the mechanism of blocking unregistered SIMS.
It is pertinent to inform here that mobile operators have issued almost 130 million SIMS across the country, which was being used in the country.
