P@sha Career Expo 2015

P@sha Career Expo 2015 was held in Lahore on Saturday 6th of June at Arfa Software Technology Park. The P@sha Career Expo takes place every year and is organized with the intention of providing the IT industry with a seamless plug-in to the best human resource available in the country. It also provides an opportunity for young professionals to connect with job providers in the industry. Many young professionals related to IT industry and fresh graduates from IT institution were seen in the event.

Young professionals and fresh graduates attended the event to apply for different job openings in companies and appeared for on the spot interviews. Different sessions were also part of the event. These sessions includes:

Understanding the Pakistani Job market
Career building workshop
Role of social media in finding an ideal job
Pakistani institutes and recruitment challenges in IT sector
Idea storming for startup

Discussions like communication skills, interview techniques, resume writings; entrepreneurship, career tracks and career counseling were also part of the event. These sessions and discussions were hosted by the CEO’s, AVP’s, Heads of HR departments, Managers and Analysts from different organizations. Interaction with the CEO’s of different companies was also part of the event. Everyone who attended the event took a positive interest and participated in sessions, discussions and interactions.
