WhatsApp Is Working On In-App Dialer To Call Unsaved Contacts

WhatsApp keeps on introducing new features regularly to engage its users. The messaging giant always remains in the limelight. Numerous reports have been surfacing online that a new WhatsApp feature to message unsaved contacts is in the works. The feature is yet to be rolled out to all users. Meanwhile, the messaging giant is working on a similar feature to allow users to easily interact with unsaved contacts. It is developing an in-app dialer that will allow to call people on WhatsApp without saving their numbers. It will be a welcoming feature as you will not have to save the number of people you need to contact.

The all-new in-app dialer was spotted on WhatsApp for Android’s beta version 2.24.9.28. It seems to be a very handy feature as it will save you a lot of time. You won’t have to worry about temporarily adding contacts to your address book even when you don’t intend to communicate with them frequently. The feature is perfect for people who want to contact a business or service just for information.

In addition, WhatsApp is also working on a feature called “Hidden Group”. It will allow users to hide groups in communities. The feature was spotted in Android’s WhatsApp beta version 2.24.9.20. It will enable the invited WhatsApp members to find and join the group. Moreover, it will also enable community admins to find and remove the group as well.

It is pertinent to mention here that we still don’t know when will these features roll out worldwide on the stable version. The messaging giant is known for doing rounds of beta testing before deploying new features. For instance, the feature that allows you to message unsaved contacts has been in development since last year and hasn’t rolled out to the stable version yet.
