Xiaomi is all set to launch their upcoming gaming phone, Xiaomi Play that is expected to give a tough competition to the Honor Play. The company has also given us hints about the official launch date of the phone. Xiaomi Play Launch Date Is Expected To Be December 24.

Xiaomi Play Launch Date Is Reportedly Decided To Be December 24

We all know that almost a week back, Xiaomi’s President Lin Bin revealed that a 48MP-camera phone is on its way to the market. However, he didn’t reveal any further information at that time. Recently, the company has announced on Weibo that they are going to hold an event between December 17 and December 26. The most probable date is December 24 as it will be Christmas Eve so, it is expected that the Xiaomi Play smartphone will see the lights on December 24.

There had been no words about this smartphone by the company yet. We only know that the upcoming handset will be a gaming phone specially designed for the younger audience. We all know that Xiaomi has already Gaming phones, Black Shark series. So, the upcoming handset might be a budget-friendly version of previously launched gaming phones. Furthermore, according to some other reports, Xiaomi Play could be a rebranded Pocophone F1. Back in October, Xiaomi Black Shark 2 was launched. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Gaming Phone is bit taller and slightly thicker than its predecessor. The gaming phone is packed with 4,000 mAh battery that keeps the lights on. In addition to all this, the Black Shark 2 ships with Snapdragon 845. It features 8GB of RAM. In addition to that, the phone comes with Android 8.1 Oreo straight out of the box. So, let’s see what Xiaomi will offer in its upcoming gaming phone. If the rumors came out to be true, then we will soon see a new gaming handset.
