A Cheaper Huawei Mate 20 Pro Without In-Display Fingerprint Reader Exists

We all know that Huawei Mate 20 Series was launched a few days back. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is the company’s flagship smartphone with high-end specifications. However, Huawei Mate 20 Pro Price is quite high because it boasts some unique features like wireless charging and in-display fingerprint sensor. Two days back, its official debut happened in China where Huawei announced a cheaper version of the handset. A Cheaper Huawei Mate 20 Pro model exists that is identical to the international model having only one difference that it doesn’t have an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Cheaper Huawei Mate 20 Pro Model Costs the equivalent of €680 in China

Together with the cheaper model, Huawei also announced two expensive models which feature the In-display Fingerprint scanner. Both models have 8GB of RAM. Furthermore, one of them is equipped with 128GB of storage while the other is equipped with 256GB. The prices of these models are equivalent to €760 and €860 respectively. The sad part of the news is that they will not go on sale in the international markets due to Huawei’s Strategy outside China. The models are expected to reside in China only.
The Mate 20 Pro is powered with the Kirin 980 chipset. Moreover, the device is a 6.39-inch notched touchscreen with an under-display fingerprint sensor. At the top of the device, there is a notch that houses a selfie camera of 24 MP with a face unlocking IR laser. At the back of the device, there are three cameras in a 40 MP + 20 MP + 8 MP setup. The main 40 MP sensor has a f/1.8 aperture, while 20 MP cam is a telephoto unit and has a f/2.4 aperture, and the 8 MP sensor is ultra wide-angle.
The Mate 20 Pro is fueled by a 4,200 mAh battery that is topped up by a 40W charger, that means in 30 minutes it will go from zero to 70%. The handset comes with wireless charging support. The Mate 20 Pro has IP68 water and dust resistance. It weighs 189g and be 8.6mm thick.
The cheaper version also boasts the same features as described above except the one that it doesn’t have the In-display fingerprint scanner. However, All the interested customers have to buy the Standard Mate 20 Pro because the models announced in China are not expected to go on sale in the international markets.
