Check out the New CAD based Renders of Pixel 9
All the Google Pixel lovers have been eagerly waiting for the launch of the Pixel 9 series. According to a source. the Pixel 9 was spotted in a new set of CAD-based renders, indicating that Google is going for a new approach to its smartphone launch schedule. It is pertinent to mention here that the two sets of renders were released in January and are now identified as the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL.
The new renders show a similar basic design as the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL, with a flat metal frame and a modified camera island. It now adopts an oval shape without bending into the frame like the projections on the earlier two generations of Pixel phones.
Furthermore, the source claims that the Pixel 9 will offer a 6.03-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is in comparison to the 6.1-inch Pixel 9 Pro and the 6.5-inch Pixel 9 Pro XL. The dimensions of the Pixel 9 are 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5mm. The other basic difference on the vanilla Pixel 9 is the dual camera setup in comparison to the three lenses on both the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL.
It appears that Google may take a fresh approach with the Pixel 9 series by rolling out three smartphone models simultaneously. Moreover, it remains to be seen what price Google will set for its upcoming smartphones and if the release of the vanilla Pixel 9 will put an end to the Pixel A-series phones. Besides, the official launch will probably take place sometime in October, when Google usually rolls out its flagships.
