Now, iPhone and iPad users can translate 100+ officially supported languages right from the keyboard without needing to resort to the Translate app.
Once you update your Gboard app, you will get a translate icon in the suggestion bar. You can also trigger the new feature by simply tapping on the Google button. The familiar language detect option is selected by default and you can always manually choose which languages you want to convert.
Gboard previous update also contains an option that will allow you to make your words into GIFs with the “Make a GIF” feature. Its additional functionality includes options for dark theme, adding a personal image as the keyboard background, voice dictation, phrase prediction, and hand-drawn emoji recognition.
