Google Cloud Rolls out Pakistan Startup Competition 2024

Are you ready for one of the biggest startup competitions in Pakistan? If not, then hurry up because Google Cloud has launched its startup competition, Pakistan 2024. The competition would lead to the discovery of the country’s most scintillating tech ventures. It will also empower them to take the lead on the regional innovation map. Moreover, the startup competition is organized to identify, showcase, and develop innovative entrepreneurial tech ventures in the country.

The event also sheds light on Google Cloud’s recognition of the country’s enormous talent pool and the flourishing opportunities within its local startup ecosystem. Startups from all over the country are invited to participate and show their exclusive ideas, products, or services in front of a panel of esteemed judges, including industry experts, investors, and seasoned entrepreneurs.

The Country Director of Google Pakistan, Farhan Qureshi, said,

We are thrilled to launch Google Cloud’s Startup Competition Pakistan 2024, a country teeming with talent and ripe with opportunities. Through this initiative, we aim to empower and support the next generation of entrepreneurs who are leveraging Cloud technologies to drive meaningful change and innovation.

The competition will feature five different tracks, each emphasizing a particular area of innovation, including AI & generative AI, e-commerce & connectivity, fintech, frontier digital technologies, and sustainability & the environment.

Conclusively, a total of five finalists from each of the tracks will be selected based on market differentiation, growth potential, the strength of the product, and the strength of the team. These finalists will then make their way to the Grand Finals, which will be held in Karachi in late July 2024, where they will showcase their projects in front of a distinguished panel of judges and industry experts.
