However, it’s pertinent to mention here that Tania Aidrus resigned from her position as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister back in 2020. A senior official from the ministry said that a similar committee was formed during the tenure of Prime Minister Imran Khan, with efforts focused on advancing the Digital Pakistan agenda. Now, with the constitution of a new committee, she has been re-appointed to lead the country’s digital efforts once again.

The new development signifies the government’s commitment to promoting its digital agenda. With her leadership and expertise, the committee is expected to provide valuable insights and recommendations to drive digital transformation initiatives across Pakistan.
