Huawei is very confident this time and claimed that it will launch an artificial intelligence device that will over pass rival such as Samsung and Apple. The new flagship phone having this technology will be launched next month. Richard Yu, Cheif Executive of Huawei consumer business announced the power of of new mobile phone chip. Huawei revealed that its new Mate 10 and other upcoming high end phones that will deliver faster processing and lower power consumption.

Huawei plans to launch Mate 10 and its sister phone, the Mate 10 Pro in Munich on Oct 16. Richard Yu, chief executive of Huawei’s consumer business confirmed that these phones will have large 6-inch plus full screen displays.

Artificial intelligence used in new chips can make phones more personalized. The new Kirin 970 chip’s high speed and low power will give its phones an edge over the Apple iPhone 8 that is to be unveiled on Sept. 12.  Kirin 970 chip will preserve battery life on phones by up to 50 percent.

Yu said in an interview:

“Compared with Samsung and Apple, we have advantages. Users are in for much faster (feature) performance, longer battery life and more compact design.”

Kirin 970 is designed by Huawei’s HiSilicon chip design business. It is built using most advanced 10 nanometer production lines of contract manufacturer TSMC. The company asserts its newly announced Kirin 970 chip will preserve battery life on phones by up to 50 percent.
