Infinix is currently working on the successor of the Infinix GT 10 Pro. The new model, Infinix GT 20 Pro has been in the rumor mill for a while. Recently, the smartphone was spotted on a major certification platform, confirming its key specifications. Let’s dig into what this upcoming Infinix phone will offer!
Infinix GT 20 Pro Specs & Design
The highly anticipated GT 20 Pro surfaced on another major certification site. Last week, the smartphone also appeared on the BIS platform. It hinted at its imminent launch in India. In a recent development, the upcoming smartphone was spotted on the FCC carrying the X6871 model number. The certification listing revealed that the Infinix GT 20 Pro will support 45W wired fast charging. A charger was also listed with the model number U450XSB. Reports claim this charger will have a power output of 15W (5V/3A) and 45W (11V/4.1A).
The FCC certification also confirmed that the new Infinix phone will come in at least one storage configuration having 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. One of the most interesting facets of the certification was the design schematics of the rear panel. As per the latest images, GT 20 Pro will boast a triple camera setup on the back similar to its predecessor. However, the center of attraction of the schematics is the semi-circular strip divided into two halves, which are likely cutouts for the LED lighting just like its predecessor.
There have been no official words regarding the design of the smartphone yet. However, we think that the company will bring the cyber mecha design first featured on the Infinix GT 10 Pro. The FCC certification also confirmed the dimensions of the Infinix GT 20 Pro. It is tipped to be 164×74.5×7.6mm. Furthermore, the smartphone will support 5G and Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/n/ac/ax. It will reportedly come with a 5,000mAh battery pack and MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 SoC. The smartphone surfaced on the GeekBench and TUV certifications a few weeks ago, confirming these specs.
