The new privacy feature is specially designed for apps which request access to your account. When you use these apps for the very first time, an authorisation screen will appear that will let you know about the information the particular app is requesting from you.
This format is almost the same as the “Log in with Facebook” as it gives the same information regarding the things the app asks for. Furthermore, Instagram will also make it easier for you to see the app you have authorized in the past and will make it’s easy to remove them from the account. It the setting menu, there will be a new option, i.e., “Apps and Websites”. From this option, you can easily see when an app was connected and remove it from your account.
Instagram is trying to make its platform the most secure one to be used. Last month, Instagram removed 10,000 apps from its platform for breaking its rules.
