iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max not charging automatically when power cable is plugged in

It is going viral on the internet from morning regarding the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max Battery charging issue. The iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max owners reported that their phones do not start charging when a Lightning cable is plugged in when the screen is off. Affected users said that they have to ensure that the screen is on and have to replug the cables to start the charging.

This issue has been highlighted by the UnboxTherapy who is a very famous tech guy. He tested the charging issue on iPhone Xs MAx, iPhone Xs and iPhone X. Sadly, only iPhone X work well, other two were showcasing this issue. The majority of the 2018 iPhones are having this issue and people are reporting it on Apple Official Forums. The devices do not respond to the cable being plugged in as they should, with most kicking into action once the screen is woken up.

The major symptoms of this issue is very weird because some devices do not charge until the screen is woken up. For example, you set your mobile to charge before sleeping and when you wake up you see your mobile hasn’t charged even 1%. This is a very big issue and Apple should respond it as soon as possible. These are the most expensive devices by Apple. Some others do not charge until the device is awake and the cable is unplugged and plugged back in.
