A fake message is floating around everywhere on social media regarding the election threat in Lahore. People are receiving this message on Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp. The message is fake and there is no authenticity to the claims made in it. It is a totally false news regarding election 2018 threat alerts.

Someone started spreading this fake news on social media and after that everyone started sharing it with friends and family. This message is warning all the citizens of Lahore to avoid crowdy places and other rushy areas as the terrorists are making it their main attack zones.

Yesterday, ISPR denied all these news regarding any election 2018 threat alerts. This kind of messages was also spread in the election 2013. There is a certain group of social media which wants to create panic before the elections. So, don’t rely on this kind of messages. Go and Vote!

If you receive this kind of messages then first check ISPR official twitter page, otherwise, don’t believe in these messages. Everyone tries to inform their circle in goodwill but this fake news increases just panic in the country. Keep calm and vote!
