As we all know Nokia’s old smart phones were packed with Windows system but recently they did a come back by launching some android smart phones. The smart phone of Nokia which we are revealing today is ” Nokia 3″ and price of Nokia 3 in Pakistan is PKR.16,900/-. Let’s expand its all great features in Nokia 3 Review – 2017.

Nokia 3 is 5.0 inches’ device with the supportive resolutions of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is 4G enabled device with 16GB ROM and 2GB RAM while the system is mechanized with 1.4 GHz quad-core processor.

The camera section has 8MP lens for its back and front camera. It runs latest android version 7.0 (nougat) which is a major change for Nokia smart phones. Power house has fixed battery of 2650 mAh and it is available in so many different colors.

Display of Nokia 3:

Nokia 3 is 5.0 inches’ device that supports 720 x 1280 pixels resolution display. It has simple IPS LCD touch screen that has scored full 10-points in multi-touch test and proved that it has perfect and quick touch panel.

The handset has 320 dpi for the clear visibility of icons and texts and we haven’t seen any kind of blur icon in Nokia 3 interface.

For better graphics and 3D games, nokia 3 is using Mali-T720MP2 as its graphic processing unit. It mostly helps in gaming and better graphic display.

Design of Nokia 3:

If we talk about Nokia 3 design, then i will must say that it has perfect solid body which is hard to break. The dimensions are 143.4 x 71.4 x 8.5 mm with the weight of 141 grams. Weight is too less although it is carried with fixed battery of 2650 mAh which is present inside the back body.

Let’s talk first about the front body of Nokia 3 which has front camera lens, sensor and ear piece at its top side. Nokia name is also mentioned on the top right side while down side has three functional keys. A very strong bezel layer has covered the whole body from every corner and we have tested it, it’s not easy to break or damage.

Edges are little different as compare to other smart phones as its one edge has SIM jacket and memory card jacket. The other edge has volume keys and power button. Usually smart phones provide one jacket for SIM and memory card but Nokia has changed the way. Top side has mic and 3.5 mm audio jack whereas down side has speakers, microUSB port  and another mic.

Back Body of Nokia 3 is totally simple and decent one. It has 8MP lens on its back body with LED flash light furthermore Nokia name is also mentioned on the back side. Rest of the body is totally simple.

Camera:

Camera section of Nokia 3 is packed with 8MP lens for it’s both front and back camera lens. Back camera and front camera can record videos in full 1080p quality. Let’s expand these both camera lens in detail.

Back Camera of Nokia 3:

Nokia 3 has 8MP lens as its back camera and it is present with LED flash light. It can record videos in full 1080p quality whereas Nokia 3 doesn’t define any specific modes. HDR option, self timer and flash light options are accessible in back camera of nokia 3.

Interface of camera section is very simple and easy to use. It has some options which i have discussed in earlier paragraph are present at its top side while down side has camera click button, video button and gallery option.

Setting Menu has variety of options such as direction, height, spirit level and many others. We can reduce the picture size from 8MP to 4MP if we are facing some space issue. Color theme option is also present in which we can change the theme of camera section. The available colors in color theme are red, green, orange and white.

If we talk about its camera results than Nokia 3 has not given us much satisfactory results because we are expecting a better results than this. The one thing which i have felt is pictures don’t have color energy in them. They look so dull and boring although clarity is fine but color accuracy and brightness is too weak. Front Camera of Nokia 3:

Nokia 3 has 8MP lens as its front camera but it is present without any flash light. It can record video in full 1080p quality and the modes are same like back camera even though all setting options are accessible for front camera.

Results for front selfie camera are way better than back camera. One thing which Nokia 3 is missing in front camera is beauty mode which it doesn’t have. Memory of Nokia 3:

Nokia 3 has just satisfactory memory section because it is providing us 16GB ROM and 2GB RAM. Internal memory can be increased up to 256 GB with the access of memory card and the best part in Nokia 3 is separate memory card jacket. It would be better if we will use the memory card up to 32GB or 64GB, it will not slow your device.

Battery of Nokia 3:

Nokia is always famous for giving us very satisfactory battery timings but Nokia 3 is lacking that plus point because it has only fixed Li-ion 2650 mAh battery. The battery is present inside the fixed back cover of Nokia 3. It could have been so much better if Nokia 3 provides us 3000 mAh battery or bigger than that.

Network/Connectivity of Nokia 3:

Nokia 3 is 4G enabled device with the access of 3G or 2G networks. The speed of LTE is LTE Cat.5 150/50 Mbps while 3G speed is HSPA+ 42.2/5.76 Mbps and it supports all the bandwidths of Pakistani networks.

It has some more connectivity’s such as Bluetooth, WiFi and FM Radio. WiFi has standards of b/g/n network whereas Bluetooth version is 4.0.

Interface of Nokia 3:

As we all know Nokia was associated with windows system but this time they did a come back with android system. Nokia 3 has latest android version 7.0 (nougat) which is fast and accurate as compare to older version of android. Nokia 3 has 5.0 inches’ screen and the colors used in its interface are impressive.

Let’s start with its lock screen which has fixed wallpaper set on it which means it doesn’t change automatically. We have notification bar at its top which shows the connectivity of SIM, WiFi and others. Date and time are displayed in the center side whereas if you have to unlock the device, you have to swipe up the screen and enter pass code or pattern if you have set any.

If we talk about its application manager then i will say must say it looks too crowded and loaded with so many applications. You don’t feel any fresh vibe because it doesn’t have any extra space. All the applications are arranged in the form of rows and columns furthermore many bloatware applications are already installed on it.

Processor of Nokia 3:

Nokia 3 has Quad-Core 1.4GHz processor with the chip set of  Mediatek MT6737 that is based on the architecture of ARM-Cortex A53. This chip set is faster than any other dual-core chip set. Mediatek has performed so well in every testing of Nokia 3.

It has 2GB RAM which is satisfactory choice for mid-range device. We have installed some applications and games, got no delays and lags.

Antutu Bench Marking of Nokia 3:

As we know Antutu Bench marking is a best application to check the device efficiency. We have tested it with Nokia 3 and it has scored 28869 points and ranked itself in a satisfactory place. The best part is multi-touch test in which it has scored full 10-points.

Vellamo Bench Marking of Nokia 3:

Vellamo Bench marking always conduct three test to check the device performance and we have applied all these three tests on Nokia 3. Multi-core test has scored 1319 points, metal has got 913 points and chrome-browser has got 1817 points.

Conclusion:

Nokia 3 is one of the most awaited device of 2017 but unfortunately Nokia 3 has not surprised me with it’s any feature. We have explained its every feature in Nokia 3 Review – 2017. The price is very affordable by which it can hit the users otherwise it has very normal specifications. I have found its camera results are very weak and the battery should be bigger. We were expecting a lot more from Nokia because it is Nokia not any other company. Body and shape wise, Nokia 3 is very solid and strong furthermore it has very light weight.
