OPPO has introduced another device with some new changes and better specifications. The OPPO has already target the market by manufacturing the stylish device especially for young customers. OPPO A37 has come up with some improved design language and with better display. A37 is now officially available all around Pakistan at price of PKR.16,899/-. Let’s discuss OPPO A37 Review in detail.

The OPPO A37 is 5.0 inch device with IPS display. It is featured with 16GB ROM and 2GB RAM and processed with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It has 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The power house is packed with 2630 mAh non removable battery and last but not the least it runs on android old version 5.1.1 (Lollipop).

OPPO A37  Unboxing:

OPPO A37 is packed in a retail box and carried with all necessary parts of a smart phone. All the accessories are present in the second section of the box. It has charger, headphones and data cable plus the user guide-book is also available which most of us never likes to read.

Display of OPPO A37:

The OPPO is 5.0 inch device with IPS display. It is carried with the resolutions of 1280 x 720 pixels furthermore it has pixel density of 320 dpi. The handset is covered with 2.5D gorilla glass that brings satisfactory viewing experience. The display has whiteness more as compare to other regular devices.

The device has scored 10 points in multi-touch test which means it has excellent and smooth touch while typing and playing games. The colors of OPPO A37 has resemblance with QMobile LT700.

Design and Display of OPPO A37 :

Let me tell you one thing that the OPPO A37 is look-alike sibling of Iphone 6 according to its design and shape. The dimensions of OPPO A37 are 143.1 x 71 x 7.7 mm whereas the weight is only 136 grams. It is lightweight device however it carries non removable 2630 mAh battery.

Let’s start with its front body the screen is covered with white material further the function keys are enabled at the bottom side. Ear piece has marked itself at the top side whereas the front camera is present next to earpiece. The OPPO A37 has no notification light furthermore bezel is also layered around the whole frame of device.

The edges of OPPO A37 are packed with connectivity ports. At the top side we have audio jack whereas speakers and microUSB port are resided at the down side. The right edge has SIM jacket and power button alternatively the left edge has volume buttons.

At the end in design section I will tell you about its back body. The back body has metallic cover and it can’t be remove or open. Cover is totally plain and simple indeed only OPPO name is displayed. The back camera with flash light is present at the top left side.

Memory for OPPO A37:

These days memory option plays a vital role in the success of any smart phone. It has 16GB ROM and 2GB RAM. Internal memory can be increased with the help of memory card up to 256GB. If you are not much applications and game lover than the handset can easily satisfy you without memory card and 16GB is enough for normal usage. It’s not a best option nor a bad one.

The OPPO A37 is consisted of 2GB RAM which is very good feature. Games and application can run smoothly with any kind of distortion. It has efficient behavior in multi-tasking.

Camera within OPPO A37 :

The OPPO A37 is featured with 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. Both cameras makes the great combination for camera lovers. Front camera is only feasible with screen flash light whereas back camera has usable flash light.

It has video support up to full HD resolutions of 1080 pixels. Let’s look at both cameras in detail.

Rear Camera of OPPO A37 :

The back camera of OPPO A37 is featured with 8MP plus it has flashlight further it can make videos up to 1080p. The results of back camera are excellent additionally it has very good exposure of taking pictures. Auto Focus mode is enabled plus you can set manually also. Brightness and aperture are very balanced.

Front Camera of OPPO A37 :

The front camera of OPPO A37 has 5MP with no flash light. It has just LED flash light which has also performed well. Modes are also available for front camera in which you can’t access some options for front camera as it has smaller lens than the back camera.

We can take pictures via touch, voice and palm options. Self-timer is also available further it has options of frame in which we can select which type of picture we want. It has standard, rectangle and full screen option. Pictures can be save in normal shape or you have option to save it in flip mode.

We have tested the front camera of OPPO A37. Fresh and pure colors are used and aperture is very good. Let’s look at some images taken from front camera of OPPO A37.

Network / Connectivity of OPPO A37:

OPPO A37 is LTE enabled device because it has Snapdragon 410 chip set in it. It supports all the bands over in Pakistan plus it has also connectivity of 3G or 2G network.

The device is also equipped with some more connectivity’s like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and FM Radio. It has 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi support whereas Bluetooth is 4.0.

The OPPO A37 has dual SIM connectivity. SIM jacket has dual SIM option and memory card place is separate so OPPO has arranged every section very well.

Battery Performance of OPPO A37:

The OPPO A37 is carried with non-removable 2630 mAh Li-Ion battery. It is packed inside the back cover which can’t be open. The battery life is satisfactory and the box has only 1A charger so it will take almost 2 hours to completely charge the device.

The OPPO A37 is quad core device so it will perform satisfactory in videos category. Color OS android interface with high brightness can reduce the battery life furthermore excessive use of 3G/4G drain the battery quickly.

Interface of OPPO A37fw:

The OPPO A37 has old android version 5.1 (Lollipop) which is based on Color Os interface. It is a bad point for OPPO A37 because latest version of 6.1 is available. The device has 5.0 inch display with resolutions of 720 pixels. The pixel density is 320 dpi which makes it a satisfactory device.

Colors used in OPPO A37 are very fresh but little with bit tint shades. The interface has used white color more than any other color. The lock screen has simple display only date and time are visible at the top left side whereas the right side is only showing battery power. We can see the status of SIM and other connectivity’s at top left side in corner.

Let’s look at the first screen of interface. Date and time widget is displayed at the top side whereas Google search bar is present in the center. Applications are arranged in rows and columns.

Quick setting has two sliders. One is for showing status of connectivity ports and other one is for quick settings. It has all necessary setting via which you can adjust settings according to your situation.

The OPPO A37 has not any special application manager. It has just a slide bar which is used to view applications. They should provide some search bar so we could directly access the application. Slide bar view will be hard when our device will be loaded with too many applications.

Only few bloat ware applications are already installed on it such as theme store, security center, king soft office and backup restore. Theme Store has different themes to choose plus it has many categories in which we can select our favorite themes furthermore wallpaper option is also featured.

Processor of OPPO A37:

The OPPO A37 has 1.2 GHz octa core processor which is based on the architecture of ARM Cortex-A53. It has Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chip set which supports HD resolutions and it is fulfilling that.

The handset is carried with 2GB RAM which is good choice for this kind of device. It has very good performance and we have observed heating issue while testing the camera section.

The OPPO A37 has been tested by antutu bench marking which is one of the best device checking application in the field of performance and behavior. The OPPO A37 has scored 24994 points and ranked itself below iphone 5s but overall it has very satisfactory scores.
