OPPO A5s Debuts With Helio P35 SoC

The Snapdragon 450 SoC powered OPPO A5 was launched back in July 2018.  Now, the company has launched a refreshed version of its predecessor dubbed as OPPO A5s. The latest budget-friendly Oppo smartphone went official in Taiwan earlier today.

OPPO A5s Specs, Features & Color options

The OPPO A5s features a 6.2-inch IPS LCD panel. It comes with a waterdrop-style notch. In addition to all that,  it produces an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The water drop notch of the latest phone by OPPO houses a front-facing camera of 8-megapixel. On the other hand, the backside of the phone is fitted with 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel horizontally arranged dual camera setup. The smartphone is powered by the Helio P35 chipset. This SoC has the same CPU configuration as the Heli P30 but comes with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. In addition to that, it has also plenty of AI camera features. The Helio P35 SoC is built on the TSMC 12 nm process.

The OPPO A5s runs the Android 8.1 Oreo OS with ColorOS 5.2 UI.  The Helio P35 chipset is paired with 3 GB of RAM. In addition to that, there is an internal storage of 64 GB on the device. The phone also sports a microSD card slot for additional storage. The smartphone boasts a 4,230mAh battery cell to keep the lights on. However, there is no support fast charging for the big battery of the A5s. The phone also features a fingerprint scanner. The handset measures 155.9 x 75.4 x 8.2mm and weighs 170 grams.

The OPPO A5s Color Options include the color variants of Black and Red. However, there had been no information available on the price tag of the OPPO A5s yet. OPPO A5s Price will be quite reasonable as it is one of the budget-friendly handsets by the company.
