Pakistan Online Visa System is Live for 179 Countries- Here’s How to Apply

Pakistan is on its way to becoming new global tourism players, thanks to the online visa facility. A few months back Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced a new visa policy for 175 countries to promote tourism and investments in Pakistan. According to the initial plan, countries will get the facility of applying for an online visa. As per the new visa policy, e-visa facility will initially be provided to five countries namely Turkey, China, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. The citizens of these countries will be able to apply for Pakistani visa via email at an $8 fee. However, in such a less span of time, Pakistan Online Visa System is now open for the citizens of  179 Countries. 

Here’s How to Apply for Pakistan Online Visa System

Moreover, citizens from 50 Countries are eligible to apply for Visa On Arrival under Tourist Category and the citizens from 95 Countries are eligible to apply for Visa on Arrival under Business Category.

How to Apply?

You need to follow three easy steps for the online visa application in Pakistan. Open Government of Pakistan Ministry of Interior portal.  Before starting your application, please go through the instructions for each step below:

Now you need to ensure that you are applying for the right visa as each visa has its own set of required documents. You must have the following on-hand before you begin your application:

• Complete set of supporting documents.
• Photograph up to 500KB captured as explained in the Photograph Tutorial.
• Valid Credit Card/Debit Card for online payment of your application fee.

Online Application

When you are ready to apply, follow the steps mentioned below:

• Click on the Apply Now button to launch the Pakistan Online Visa System.
• Create a New Account.
• Login to the Pakistan Online Visa System.
• Complete your application.
• Pay Fee through a Credit Card/Debit Card.
• Submit your Application.
