PTCL Announces 3rd Quarter Report with 42% Increase in Profitability

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has ended up its its financial results for the nine months. PTCL Announces 3rd Quarter Report with 42% Increase in Profitability. Pakistan’s leading ICT service provider, PTCL, gets 42% increase in revenue as compared to the last year.

PTCL Announces 3rd Quarter Report with 42% Increase in Profitability

The Group revenue stood at Rs. 88.8 billion during this year. However, the operating expenses reduced to 3% resulting in a net profit of Rs. 3.9 billion. Moreover, with growth in DSL broadband revenue, PTCL’s get revenue of Rs. 54.3 billion.

Further, the Company’s operating expenses also decreased to 6% increasing the net profit of Rs. 7.6 billion.

Moreover, For the 3rd quarter 2016, the Group revenue increased by 2 % with a net profit of Rs. 876 million. However, there is a decrease of Rs. 371 million as compared to the corresponding period of last year. Furthermore, the Company’s profitability increased by 9% in the 3rd quarter.
