PTCL-XI beat NPC XI by 32 runs

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) XI defeated the National Press Club (NPC) XI by 32 runs in the exhibition cricket match played at Embassy Cricket Grounds Islamabad.

  • According to details, the PTCL-XI batted first and scored 100 runs for 9 in allotted 10 overs. For PTCL XI Jabran Abbasi aggressively scored 27 and Ajmal Khan made 18 runs respectively. From NPC XI side, Afzal Javed and Shakir Abbasi took three wickets each.
  • Chasing the target, NPC XI started responsible innings but failed to achieve the target and all out in 9th over with the score of 68 runs. Afzal Javed was the top scorer who made 23 runs for NPC side.

Governor KPK Engineer Shoukatullah was the chief guest of concluding ceremony while chief marketing officer PTCL Furqan Qureshi, General Manger PTCL Imran Janjua, President Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) Afzal Butt, President NPC Shahryar Khan, Secretary Tariq Choudhry, chairman organizing committee Mohsin Ali and others were also present on the occasion.
