QMobile is the largest smartphone brand in Pakistan and they have recently introduced QMobile i6 metal in the market to gain the attention of their customers once again. The QMobile i6 metal is a device with 5 inches display. Let’s look at the features and specifications.

QMobile i6 metal‘s power house has a battery of 2500 mAh, with a processor of 1.3 GHz quad core. QMobile i6 metal runs the version of Android 7.0. Camera section has 5 MP back camera lens with LED flash and 5 MP front camera with flash light. QMobile i6 metal is equipped with the memory of 8 GB ROM and 1 GB RAM. The device has access to 3G only.

Display of QMobile i6 Metal:

QMobile i6 metal is a device with supportive resolutions of 480 x 854 pixels and density for screen is 240 dpi for visibility of icon and texts. It supports a graphic card of Mali-400 MP, which is considered very average. One thing which we have seen in QMobile i6 metal is its multi touch, that is below average because it has scored only 2-points in it.

Design of QMobile i6 Metal:

QMobile i6 metal is device with touch screen and looks sleek and stylish. The dimensions of QMobile i6 Metal are 145 x 71 x 8.2 mm and weight is 166 grams.

The front body of QMobile i6 metal has 5 inches screen with front camera, flash light and ear piece at the top side and three working function keys at the down side. It does not have bezel layer outside the screen.

Top edge has USB port of v2.0 and audio jacket of 3.5 mm. There are volume keys and power button on the right edge while the left side of edge has nothing moreover there is mic at the bottom edge.

Back body of QMobile i6 Metal is simple with 5MP of lens camera and LED flash light. Logo of QMobile i6 Metal is marked at the back body moreover speaker is present at down side.

Camera of QMobile i6 Metal:

Camera section of QMobile i6 Metal has 5MP lens for it’s both front and back camera lens. Back camera and front camera can record videos in full 1080p quality. Let’s go into the details of both camera lens.

Back Camera of QMobile i6 Metal:

QMobile i6 Metal has 5MP back camera with LED flash light. It can record video in 1080p quality. The main features for the back camera are time-lapse, beauty and panorama. The main modes for back cameras are gray, sepia, tint, cross process, temperature, documentary, fish eye, focus, professional, HDR,  night and scene frame.

We have tested the image result from back camera, and the results we got are quite satisfactory. The brightness and temperature are well balanced moreover we have noticed some noise in the images, when we zoom in the picture. Let’s have a look at some images taken from the back camera.

Front Camera of QMobile i6 Metal:

The front camera i6 metal is 5 MP with flash light Moreover it can record video in 1080p quality. The main features for the front camera are time-lapse, beauty and panorama. The main modes for back cameras are gray, sepia, tint, cross process, temperature, documentary, fish eye, focus, HDR,  night and scene frame.

After testing the front camera, we have observed that result of front camera images is satisfactory. Brightness and temperature are well balanced too.  But when we zoom in the picture, we have noticed the noise in the images. Let’s have a look at front camera’s images.

Memory of QMobile i6 Metal:

QMobile i6 Metal has 8 GB ROM and 1 GB RAM, which shows that memory is very low. 8 GB memory is very low for videos and applications, it should have at least memory of 16 GB. But the issue of low memory can be fixed by expanding the memory up to 32GB with the access of memory card.

1GB RAM is very low for any smart phone but QMoblie i6 Metal is entry level smartphone, so we cannot expect any big feature in it. We have tested this device and it has worked fine.

Network/Connectivity of QMobile i6 Metal:

QMobile i6 metal supports 2G/3G network Furthermore it provides us  WiFi, Bluetooth and FM radio. WiFi has b/g/n standards while Bluetooth version is 4.0

Battery of QMobile i6 Metal:

QMobile i6 metal carries a li-ion battery of 2500 mAh that will give four to five stand by hours of usage. The battery is removable and placed inside the removable back cover. 1 Amp of the charger will charge the battery completely in two hours. As we know this mobile has quad core processor so it will provide us satisfactory performance.

Interface of QMobile i6 Metal:

QMobile i6 Metal has 5 inches display that runs a version of android 7.0 (Nougat). They have updated from Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) to Android 7.0 (Nougat). By introducing this new software, they have acquired the attention of the customers once again.

QMobile i6 Metal has notification bar and connectivity notifications at the top of the lock screen.  Time and date widgets are displayed at the center of the lock screen. Notification of remaining battery percentage is visible down side the lock screen. To unlock the main screen you have to swipe upside to unlock the screen.

On the main screen, you will find google search bar. Below the google search bar, there are time and date widgets with weather updates. The main screen has applications that are arranged in the form of rows and columns. The plus point of QMobile i6 Metal is that it has application drawer as well as an application manager. For application drawer, you have to swipe right to access your desired application.

In application manager, we have application search bar to find the desired application. Furthermore there is alphabetical search also available.  There are some bloatware applications in QMobile i6 Metal such as backup and restore, duo, phone assistant, Qapp store, QMobile care etc. Facebook and WhatsApp are already installed.

Processor of QMobile i6 Metal:

QMoblie i6 Metal has 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor with a chip set of MediaTek MT6580M. It has a processor of 32 bit with 1 GB RAM. Which is satisfactory for entry level devices.

AnTuTu Bench Marking of QMobile i6 Metal:

We have tested QMobile i6 Metal, it has scored 23661 Moreover its multi touch is below average because it has scored only 2-points in it.

Vellamo Bench Marking of QMobile i6 Metal:

We have conducted the vellamo test in QMobile i6 metal. Multicore has scored 1170, Metal has scored 765 and Chrome browser has scored 1836. which makes QMoblie i6 Metal satisfactory device.

Conclusion:

QMobile i6 Metal is not much that impressive handset as it has low memory and average touch support. The camera lens is satisfactory. The battery gives average stand by hours of usage. QMobile i6 Metal is 3G enabled device with 1 GB RAM, which makes it satisfactory entry level device.
