QMobile is a Pakistan’s largest smartphones company and they have recently launched i9i in the market. QMobile i9i is a device with 5 inches display. The price of QMobile i9i is Rs.7600/-. Let’s look at the features and specifications in QMobile i9i Review.

QMobile i9i Review – Rs.7600/-

The powerhouse has a battery of 2000 mAh, with a processor of 1.3 GHz quad-core. QMobile i9i runs the version of Android 7.0(Nougat). Camera section has 5 MP back camera lens with LED flash and 5 MP front camera. QMobile i9i is equipped with the memory of 16 GB ROM and 1 GB RAM. The device has access to 3G only.

Unboxing of QMobile i9i:

QMobile i9i is packed in simple sea green rectangular box. All the necessary accessories are available inside the box, such as data cable, charger, and headphones. For user’s guidance, a guidebook is also available in order to guide accordingly.

Memory of QMobile i9i:

QMobile i9i has 16 GB ROM and 1 GB RAM, which shows that memory is very low. 16 GB memory is low for downloading. But the issue of low memory can be fixed by expanding the memory up to 32 GB with the access of memory card.

1 GB RAM is very low for any smartphone but i9i is an entry-level smartphone, so 1 GB RAM is satisfactory for it. We have tested this device and it has worked fine.

Battery of QMobile i9i:

QMobile i9i has Li-ion battery of 2000 mAh that will give four to five standby hours of usage. The battery is removable and placed inside the removable back cover. 0.2 Amp of the charger will charge the battery completely approximately in two hours. As this mobile has a quad-core processor so it will provide us satisfactory performance.

Interface of QMobile i9i:

It has 5 inches display that runs a version of Android 7.0 (Nougat). QMobile i9i connectivity notifications at the top of the lock screen.  Time and date widgets are displayed at the center of the lock screen. Notification of remaining battery percentage is visible downside the lock screen. To unlock the main screen you have to swipe upside to unlock the screen.

On the main screen, you will find google search bar. Below the google search bar, there is time and date widget with weather updates. The main screen has applications that are arranged in the form of rows and columns. The QMobile i9i has application drawer or application tray. For application drawer, you have to swipe right to access your desired application.

There is some bloatware application in i9i such as backup and restore, Notes, Qapp store, SIM Toolkit etc. Facebook, WhatsApp Skype, and Uber are already installed.

Camera of QMobile i9i:

QMobile i9i has 5MP back camera with flashlight. It can record video in 1080p quality. The main features for the back camera are Face detection, Face beauty, self-timer, and panorama.

We have tested the image result from back camera, and results we got are quite satisfactory. The brightness and temperature are well balanced moreover we have noticed some noise in the images if we zoom in the picture. Let’s have a look at some images taken from the back camera.

The front camera i9i is 5 MP with flashlight moreover it can record video in 1080p quality. The main features for the front camera are Face beauty, self-timer, Mirror view, HDR, and panorama.

After testing the front camera, we have observed that result of front camera images is satisfactory. Brightness and temperature are well balanced too.  But when we zoom in the picture, we have noticed the noise in the images. Let’s have a look at front camera’s images.

Design of QMobile i9i:

QMobile i9i is a device with touchscreen and looks very simple. The dimensions of QMobile i9i are 14.3 x 71.2 x 8.4 mm ~ and weight are 141 grams.

The front body of QMobile i9i has 5 inches screen and has a front camera on it, flashlight and earpiece are present at the top side and three working function keys at the downside. It does not have bezel layer outside the screen.

Top edge has USB port of v 2.0 and ear piece of 3.5 mm. There are volume keys and power button on the right edge while the left side of the edge has nothing.

Back body of QMobile i9i is simple. You will find 5MP of lens camera and LED flashlight on it. Logo of QMobile is marked at back body moreover speaker is present at the downside.

Display of QMobile i9i:

QMobile i9i is a device with supportive resolutions 480×854 pixels and density for the screen is 213 dpi for the visibility of icon and texts. It supports a graphics card of Mali-400 MP, which is considered very average. QMobile i9i has below average multi-touch because it has scored only 2-points in it.

Processor of QMobile i9i:

QMoblie i9i has 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor with a chipset of MediaTek MT6580M. It has a processor of 32 bit with 1 GB RAM. Which is satisfactory for entry-level devices.

Network/Connectivity of QMobile i9i:

QMobile i9i supports 2G/3G network Furthermore it provides us  WiFi, Bluetooth, and FM radio. WiFi has b/g/n standards while Bluetooth version is 4.0

AnTuTu Bench Marking of QMobile i9i:

We have tested Antutu Benchmarking in QMobile i9i, it has scored 24466 moreover its multi-touch is below average because it has scored only 2-points in it.

Vellamo Bench Marking of QMobile i9i:

Vellamo conduct three tests to check the device and these tests are a multi-core test, chrome test, and metal test. Multi-core has scored 1193 points, metal scored 800 points, and chrome scored 1434 points.

Conclusion:

QMobile i9i is an entry-level handset as it has low memory and average touch support. The camera lens is satisfactory. The battery gives average standby hours of usage. QMobile i9i is a 3G enabled device with 1 GB RAM, which makes it satisfactory entry-level device.
