As 2017 has just started, and QMobile has also come with complete brand new M-Series. As the QMobile M6 has been launched with some great set of specifications including huge 5000mAh battery and AMOLED display panel. But Now we hand on QMobile M6 Lite, the lighter version of QMobile M6. Let’s have quick go through from specs sheet and find what lighter is giving under the tag of “Lite”.

Well, starting from the display, QMobile M6 lite is packed with 5.0-inch HD IPS display covered with 2.5D Glass. the processor is 1.3GHz Quad core coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB ROM. The QMobile M6 Lite has Android Marshmallow 6.0 as software with Amigo 3.1 UI.

QMobile M6 lite’s front camera is 5MP FF and back is 13MP with LED flash. moreover, talking about other specifications; M6 lite is a dual SIM  4G enabled phone but one SIM at time can use 4G communication. And lastly the battery capacity, now at this point QMobile M6 lite doesn’t deserve “Lite” phrase, QMobile has provided 4000mAH battery.

Display of QMobile M6 Lite:

The QMobile M6 lite featuring a 5.0-inch HD IPS display shows at 720p resolution, while QMobile M6 carries FHD IPS AMOLED display panel. The pixel density of M6 lite’s screen is 306ppi that’s good and acceptable. the screen has decent brightness as QMobile put more LED to make it properly brighter, so in direct sunlight, the readability would not be bother.

The display of M6 lite is covered with 2.5D Glass yet the Glass protection has been mentioned on the box. During the testing at PhoneWorld’s lab, we found it scratch proof upto certain level.

The QMobile M6 Lite has IPS display panel having pretty decent color reproduction, the colors are appeared more vivid and crunchy, specially the black pixels look more dominant. The display saturation is perfect.

Design of QMobile M6 Lite:

The QMobile M6 Lite is pretty handy phone as it spreads at 144 x 71 x 9 mm. well, a bit thick though but it is carrying a big 4000mAh battery beneath back cover. the phone is smaller than QMobile M6 by almost 10mm, and thinner too by 6mm almost. the QMobile M6 Lite weighs 184 grams same as its predecessor.

The M6 Lite looks a bit like the QMobile M6 from front but the difference is front mounted finger print scanner. However; from the back side, it is come with complete different design and back cover is removable though. The camera section has been moved to left corner flanked from circle bump. the back cover build is consist of plastic and metal too. The QMobile M6 Lite got speaker at bottom of back.

The QMobile M6 Lite, its 5-inch device, clothed with 2.5D Glass. the phone is 145mm taller that makes it handier and while the thickness is an issue. The QMobile M6 Lite has slightly round edges helping you easily put in pocket.

Further talking about the design, QMobile M6 lite has audio jack at top edge, on the right edge, the only physical power and volume keys are flanked. The bottom is home to microUSB port and primary mic.

Camera within QMobile M6 Lite:

QMobile M6 lite has good combination of camera lenses as it has 13MP lens for back camera and 5MP lens for front camera. Back camera can record videos in full 1080 pixels while front one can record in 720p. Let’s have a look at both cameras in detail to thoroughly examine the lenses in detail.

Rear Camera of QMobile M6 Lite:

The back camera of QMobile M6 lite is equipped with 13MP lens and LED flash light. It can record videos in full 1080 pixels that means it supports full HD system. The main modes are HDR, Panorama, Night, professional,  ultra-pixel, Pic Note, smart scan and some others.

We can reduce the image size option up to 5MP if we are facing memory issue. This setting is available in the settings menu which we can adjust. . Capture Mode, Countdown, guidelines, sound, geo tagging and many other options can be set via setting menu.

We took some images from the back camera of QMobile M6 lite and results are extra ordinary. Color accuracy and clarity of images are easily visible moreover quality and dynamic range is very good in day light. Low lights has also good results while you can feel a little bit noise in images if we will zoom in the picture.

Front Camera of QMobile M6 Lite:

The front camera of QMobile M6 lite has 5MP lens with fixed focus. It can record videos in 720p quality plus it is good selfie camera. It provides us beauty camera also with some more options.

Many modes are featured for front camera and it captures a lot of information while it is a bit noisy too. Brightness and intake of light is good. Day light gives more power to user as compare to low lights. Let’s have a look at some clicks taken from front camera of QMobile M6 Lite.

Connectivity of QMobile M6 Lite:

The QMobile M6 Lite is dual SIM, 4G enabled smartphone. Both SIM support LTE network but you can use at one SIM at a time the other would be limited to 3G or GSM. The chipset has Cat.4 modem on board which speed limit is 150Mbps/50Mbps.

The other connectivity choices are Wi-Fi b/g/n, hotspot, while file transferring in limited range of 10 meter is offered through Bluetooth 4.0. there is A-GPS for global positioning.

For physically connectivity, The QMobile M6 Lite comes with microUSB port which also support OTG (USB On The Go). Unfortunately, No Radio is present on board.

Screen cast feature is available for QMobile M6 Lite that connect with display device to display mobile screen.

Battery Performance of QMobile M6 Lite:

QMobile M6 lite has removable big Li-Po battery of 4000 mAh that is present inside the back cover. Polymer battery always provide less weight and great performance which we can see in M6 lite. The handset has big battery inside it that can easily provide us 7-8 stand by hours to play with it. It has media tek chip set which also supports battery saving function so it is plus point for M6 Lite.

Although excessive usage of 4G/3G/2G , games or videos can drain the battery very quickly otherwise this battery is perfect according to all other features of M6 Lite.

Interface of QMobile M6 Lite:

QMobile M6 lite runs android version 6.0 (Marshmallow) and it is the latest version of android yet. May be in future it will upgrade to nougat 7.0 but we don’t have any official confirmation of it.

Color and brightness are very well managed further the icons have clear visibility. The main screen has time and date widget at its center while the Google search bar is displayed at the top side. Applications are arranged in the form of rows and columns while the main application manager button is present in between them.

We have some bloat ware applications on it that are already installed such as QAppStore, Backup and Restore, Facebook, Gameloft and many others. Gameloft has four games in it such as asphalt nitro, danger dash, real football and spider man. WhatsApp, skype and Opera browser are also already installed.

Processor of QMobile M6 Lite:

The QMobile M6 Lite has 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor that is built on the architecture of ARM Cortex-A53. It has media tek chip set MT6737 which i better than any dual-core chip set. It enhances the battery power and performance of the device.

3GB RAM is the best option for any mid-range device and we haven’t observed any kind of delays and lags while testing the device. Although heating issue has been observed while using the camera.
