BlackBerry users are to get free voice chats on BlackBerry Messenger (BBM). The users will be able to make free voice calls over a Wi-Fi network using the popular BBM messaging service.

A split-screen option has been introduced, which will let them talk and text at the same time. Users will be able to send pictures to their contact while talking with them, or check other BBM text chats, their email, or even navigate to other apps while still engaged on a BBM Voice call.
