Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) Design and Display:

Firstly, let’s jump to the display section of Samsung Galaxy A9 2018 in which it has a long 6.3 inches’display screen that supports 1080 x 2220 pixels resolution. If we talk about its density pixel then it has a clear 480 dpi which is a perfect choice for this kind of flagship device. The display quality of Samsung Galaxy A9 is way better than the previous Samsung devices because the color power and brightness are up to the notch. Its icon quality and the display is also excellent and it doesn’t have any kind of blurry feeling. The best thing about Samsung Galaxy A9 2018 is its body and built quality which is awesome. Keep in mind that it is the midrange flagship device of Samsung. Check out the images in Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) Review.

Now let’s go to the design section of Samsung Galaxy A9 2018, in which it has a front camera sensor at its top side whereas in middle it has an earpiece. The front body is layered with borders and it depends upon which color you have. Its top side has a SIM jacket whereas the opposite side is packed with a 3.5mm audio jack, 2,0 micro USB, a secondary mic and a speaker. It looks like Samsung has put all the things on its downside. The right edge has volume keys and power button while the opposite side to it has a Bixby button. Bixby is the revolutionary onboard assistant that learns, evolves, and adapts to you. Each feature of Bixby is designed to make your life easier, whether it’s through touch, type, or voice. Bixby seamlessly helps you get things done. Check out the images in Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) Review.

The main essentials of Samsung Galaxy A9 2018 are on the back side, back camera lenses. It is getting famous due to its quadruple cameras, all the camera lenses are present in the vertical style and with that, it has an LED flashlight. The fingerprint scanner is just marked near to it and in the mid-side of the back body. I have a caviar black Samsung Galaxy A9 and it has a very dull shiny and stylish material back body, hope they do justice with all the other colors too as they did with a black one. Check out the images in Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) Review.

Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) Camera:

Samsung Galaxy A9, this is the first smartphone worldwide which has four rear cameras. In addition to this, it is a premium device that is well built, but it has pretty good specifications a lot of internal storage. The main sensor has plenty of megapixels, the secondary shooter collects depth information that is necessary for taking pictures with a nicely blurred background. The third sensor allows you to take telephoto pictures with 2 times optical zoom and finally an ultra wide lens has 120 degrees field of view on the front there is a selfie shooter of 24MP.

It’s really awesome to have so many cameras because it’s like carrying four lenses in your camera bag. I took almost all pictures side by side with auto wide-angle and telephoto modes. The pictures took in auto mode look nice sharp and detailed and I also like the colors and dynamic range are usually decent. I tested the camera on a sunny day also, so lighting conditions were perfect.

The wide-angle lens gives you a whole new perspective of the scene and you can take really nice photos with it that will look awesome on Instagram. However, I wish this lens was able to capture more detailed dynamic ranges not always impressive and there could be slightly less noise. In addition, there is a visible barrel distortion effect but the good news is that can fix that with a tap of the button.

The pictures that were taken with a telephoto lens usually look nice and detailed again. I don’t like that the color temperature because it is different from the pictures taken with the main camera but that maybe pixel difference. Its portrait shots usually look really nice as the object or subject is nicely separated from the background with just minimal artifacts. Check out the images in Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) Review.

When I test the Galaxy a7 I didn’t really like the seen optimizer mode but it works so much better on this phone as it makes your pictures look more vibrant and a tad sharper. In general, lowlife pictures look quite good but there could definitely be less noise. My advice is not to use neither wide-angle nor telephoto lens as the pictures simply won’t look good. There is a huge amount of noise and the level of detail is poor in low-light look nice.

They are sharply detailed and at the colors are quite accurate. Selfie portrait shots look nice to us there are no severe artifacts around this subject and the pictures will look nice on social media. Check out the images in Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) Review.

The video is quite shaky due to the lack of stabilization there is a continuous autofocus feature but it is kind of slow and a party to be jumpy at times. It can also switch from the main to the zoom camera while recording the video. However, you cannot use the wide-angle camera for video 1080p video. There is a good amount of detail and you can also switch between the main and telephoto cameras however the telephoto lens reproduces colors differently and the video is shaky. Slow-motion video is recorded in 720p at 240 frames per second, the quality of the video is quite good overall you can also make shorts super slow-motion clips 1080p, selfie video looks nice and sharp. Overall finally sound recording quality is pretty good.

Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) Memory and Processor:

Samsung did a fantastic job by starting 128GB internal memory and 6/8GB RAM options, that is quite nice. Nowadays, you don’t feel like to buy extra memory card and you want a good internal memory phone because people have found so many issues in data transferring from a memory card to internal memory and vice versa.

The RAM option is more than perfect one because 6 or 8GB RAM is more than enough for any kind of multi-tasking, gaming and network performance. We have tested this device and it hasn’t given us any single issue. It performed well in gaming, multitasking, and networking. All things are working smoothly and we haven’t got any bug or delay.

Samsung Galaxy A9 has an octa-core 2.3GHZ system with a chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. This chipset is the best one in networking, connectivity, and gaming among all its competitors. One more best point of this handset is the RAM section which is 6GB RAM/8GB RAM. Both variations are the best either it is 6 or 8GB. We have tested the device and it has performed excellently in multi-tasking.

Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) Battery:

Samsung Galaxy a9 is packed with a heavy li-ion battery of 3800 mAh, although the battery has given us a very good timings and performance. It would have been much better if they provide 4000 mAh or bigger battery than this because it has four powerful back camera lenses and 6/8GB RAM options, it will consume a lot more energy than any other simple device. It has a qualcomm processor which is a plus point plys excessive usage of mobile network will consume more power.

Conclusion:

Samsung Galaxy A9 2018 is a powerpack device as it has four rear camera lenses and 8GB RAM, that sounds wonderful. The device is beautifully designed and looks like a full flagship device but it is a mid-range device. Although the price is little high because the other Chinese companies are also making this kind of devices in the half price of Samsung Galaxy A9-2018.
