For sure, it is a good news for Snapchat Android users that company will revamp its android app very soon. Today, Snap Inc. announced that it is developing a major revamp of the Snapchat Android app that it says will be created “from the ground up.”

Recently, Snapchat has released Q3 earnings which showed a very lower growth. For the three month period, 4.5 million new Daily Active Users were added. Snap reported revenues of $207.9 million, missing analyst expectations of $236.9 million. The app now has 178 million daily active users, only a slight bump from 173 million the prior quarter.

So, to overcome this loss, the company has announced that it will redesign the Android version of the Snapchat app. According to the company, the new version will be first rolled out in selected markets. Then it will be available to all Android users.

In its recent update, Snapchat added Multi-Snap recording functionality to the Android app, for users who love to make videos on Snapchat but were unhappy with 10-second limit on videos.
