The All New Microsft Lumia 650

The newly released Microsoft Lumia 650 will definitely surprise you. The Lumia 650 was revealed ahead of Mobile World Congress, at first it was rumored to be released on 1st of Feb this year but Microsoft waited till 15th of Feb 2016. The Phone went on sale in the UK by 18th Feb and will be available soon in the Pakistani market.

Lumia 650 is a mid range smartphone with noticeable exterior looks and powerful specifications. Unlike the previous versions Lumia 950 and 950 XL which have a plastic casing, the new Lumia 650 has a aluminium frame around its bezels. But the back of the phone still bears a plastic cover which is removable. The phone costs around $ 200 (PKR 20,000 approx) which sounds quite affordable.

Lumia 650 comes with a 5″ HD OLED 1280×720 display and once again runs on Windows 10 which gives a uniform look and feel of the desktop version of Windows. The Lumia 650 is embedded with 1.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 Quad Core processor which is a basic processor in terms of power and efficiency. The phone is backed by 1 GB RAM and a mass memory of 16 GB which can be further extendable up to 200 GB through micro SD card.

The phone possesses a basic camera of 8 Mega Pixels with auto focus and 2x digital zoom along with f/2.2 aperture. While the front camera consists of 5 Mega Pixels wide angle with fixed focus and f/2.2 aperture. The phone is powered by a 2000 mAh removable battery which gives a stand by time of 26 days and 16 hours of talk time. The phone uses nano sim and is 4G LTE enabled.

Microsoft attention is on their upcoming flagship device “Panos Phone” which will be from their surface family. Microsoft might call it the Surface Phone and is rumored to be launched by the end of this year.
