Torrentz.eu Shuts Down Forever! End of Biggest Torrent Search Engine

Recently the founder of KickAss Torrents, Artem Vaulin was arrested for allegedly sharing copyrighted material. It was the second file sharing website to descend after The Pirate Bay.

Now the site Torrentz.eu, which was the most used website to search torrents has unexpectedly shut down.

It has been confirmed that it has stopped working. If you visit the site it appears quite normal. But if you look carefully you will be able to see the following sad message:

It states Torrentz “WAS” a free and influential meta-search engine, in place of Torrentz “IS” a free and powerful meta-search engine, like it usually used to do.

If you type in the search bar it gives the following message that says – “Torrentz will always love you. Farewell.”

Torrentz.eu was the Internet’s leading meta-search engine for torrents and the preferred site for internet browsers to download their favorite TV shows and movies. For ones that could not be accessed through lawful means.

After this sudden shutdown of torrentz, the question comes in the mind of individuals whether any other torrent website will trail suit and shut down their maneuvers, being hesitant of police arrests.
