Breaking News: Ufone Appoints Rashid Khan as its New CEO. We have confirmed with our sources that Rashid khan will be the new CEO of Ufone. Rashid Khan will replace Mr. Rainer Rathgeber, a German national, who remained the CEO of Ufone for just 18 months.

Breaking News: Ufone Appoints Rashid Khan as its New CEO

Mr. Rashid Khan was the former CEO of Mobilink. He remained the CEO and President of the company for six years from July 2008 till August 2014. Moreover, he worked in Silicon Valley for almost 15 years for various international companies. There he acquired extensive working experience in the technology sector. He was also awarded patents for his inventions.

Mr. Rainer Rathgeber and his team, to somehow, managed to sustain the competition with almost no new investments made by the Etisalat group. This is mainly due to the Super Card customers, who help the company to make its cashflow positive.

Now it’s time to see whether the new CEO will improve Ufone’s market position or not.

Ufone has not officially announced this replacement yet. But our resources have confirmed us.
