It’s important to note that the note is only visible to the WhatsApp account owner. The maximum text length for these notes has not been disclosed, but it is expected to be long enough to store critical information about a user.

While the availability of the contact notes feature for personal users is uncertain. However, it is expected to be initially launched for business users. This is indicated by the “This is a business account” label in the test account’s description. The note field prompt that reads “Add notes about your customer.” This exclusivity highlights WhatsApp’s focus on providing valuable features for its business users.
