The chat rooms of Yahoo were very famous at that time. Soon after technological interventions, new apps overcome it and became a user’s priority. Though Yahoo has tried to join the race of technological developments lets accept when it’s walking towards new things, other new apps are literally running and achieve it before. Just recently Yahoo has launched a new mobile app and a video app for Android TV. As it is getting new, it is removing its past features that have remained very dear to people. Yes, Its time to wave goodbye to Yahoo Groups which were the major part of our entertainment in the old day.
Wave Good-Bye to Yahoo Groups-The oldest memory we have
Yahoo Groups, an online discussion board came in to being more than 15 years back. From October 28, 2019, users will not be able able to download any more content to these groups. Yahoo will delete all the content from the site on December 14. It means it has given you some time to save anything you want.
Furthermore, group sites will continue but all the public groups will be made private. New group members will have to request an invite to join or they will be able to join when an admin invites them.
The Bottom Line:
So, from October 28, you will not be able to upload any new content that you didn’t save after December 14. But you will be able to communicate with your friends via email or can request to join private groups on site.
