This time Social media giant , Facebook made it more easier for users to see whether their friends have checked in as safe. Facebook Launched a Dedicated Tab for Safety Check.

The marking Safe feature was introduced keeping in view any disaster and natural calamity. One can mark them safe by using this online platform.

Facebook Launched a Dedicated Tab for Safety Check

The safety check feature is given its own dedicated tab along with other main categories such as friends, group, events. This tab is incorporated on both Facebook’s App and desktop page.

The California based company, Facebook said:

Safety Check helps our community let loved ones know they are safe during a crisis, find and give help, as well as learn more about a crisis.

Facebook further said in an online post:

There is now single place to go to see where safety check has recently been activated, get the information you need and potentially be able to help affected areas

Modified Safety Check feature was rolled out yesterday. Safety check feature was introduced three years back for people to know the safety of their loved ones. Even in Pakistan, Facebook, remain active to introduce the safety check feature.
